Sound and Beliefs
One of the ultimate goals of being alive is to be happy
Fundamental to achieving this is to actively seek a path filled with joy, fulfillment and meaning to stimulate conscious evolution.
Living consciously and mindfully is the awareness and responsibility of how you choose to experience and respond to life in this very moment. Growth and expansion are basic aspects of evolution.
How does our consciousness, our beliefs and thoughts support or hinder the natural evolution process? And, what role do sound, vibration, frequency, resonance and entrainment play in it?
Scientific research shows that only about 5 % of our “thinking” and “acting” is done by our conscious mind.
In contrast, the subconscious mind is associated with the neural activity of approximately 95% of the brain and has a profoundly more powerful influence on our behavior than the conscious mind.
Our attitudes, values, perceptions, conclusions, paradigms, behaviors and the like are derived from our past experiences and are stored in our subconscious minds. Over time they become our beliefs, and most of the time, they turn into our negative and limiting beliefs.
Our beliefs become our destiny, they create our reality and establish the limits of what we can achieve and be.

It is important to recognize the roles of the brain and the mind
Your mind is not your brain…, the brain in your skull is a mass of trillions of cells, weighing about 3 lbs in an adult.
Your mind is the energy that penetrates and surrounds your brain, and several theories suggest that the mind is not restricted to your head but resides in your entire body.
According to Quantum Physics everything is energy. The speed of the vibration with which the energy molecules vibrate determines whether the energy manifests as physical or non physical. It follows that your mind molecules are vibrating at a higher rate than the body molecules of you.
Research suggests that we are most programmable from conception to the age of about seven
Parents, doing the best that they can with what they know at the time, are the first line of “programmers” that instill a broad range of beliefs in our minds. Over time you then add teachers, social institutions of all sorts, public media, peers, siblings, your own inner voice etc.,
and sooner than you know a pretty thick soup of mostly limiting and negative beliefs, such as “I can’t do…, I do not deserve…, I am not worth…, I am not as good as…, I am afraid of…., etc., etc. is cooking in your mind. Remember that according to the Law of Attraction a
doubt is the result of a limiting belief, and a belief is nothing else but a thought that you think over and over and over…
Your belief systems
Awareness
If your beliefs are limiting or negative and not conducive to achieving your aforementioned goals, become consciously aware of them and create the desire to think and behave differently.
Re-program your mind and replace your limiting beliefs with very specific, expansive and positive thoughts which then become your new beliefs.
Entrainment
Construct a very different picture in your mind, remember to envision it, and see it from the end, as if it is already true.
Consciously allow yourself to entrain or experience your harmony with the vibrations of all around you and feel your connection, your resonance, or the lack of it, with the world.
Without entrainment – the basis of all communication – we would exist in isolation rather than in harmony with the Universe.
Harmony
If you are of the mindset that we live in a benevolent Universe, then know that the Universal Energy Field vibrates at a highly positive frequency.
We all are equipped to resonate with it in full harmony. Nothing and nobody “out there” cuts us off or diminishes our connection with it other than ourselves.
Attraction
One of the basic principles of the Law of Attraction states to be conscious of what you ask for (or are thinking) because you are going to get it.
So when you then consider that, on average, about 65% of our thoughts are either negative or redundant, one is well advised to identify one’s own limiting beliefs as well as negative thoughts, and to catch them before they run your life and regulate your decisions, or the lack thereof.
The power of belief and sound
Sound healing, gong sound healing in particular, among other holistic modalities such as Meditation, Acupuncture, Reiki, Yoga, PSYCH-K® and others, does raise your vibrational frequency and aids you in connecting with your superconscious mind, which can be interpreted as being synonymous with your Higher Self, Soul, Spirit, Universal Energy, God or that which you choose to call it.
The sound of the gongs and singing bowls serves as a psycho acoustic gateway to heightened states of awareness and consciousness. A healing gong sound immersion in form of a guided gong meditation, commonly a.k.a. gong bath, does open up natural channels in the energy of your body, your chakras, and if we recognize and learn to flow with them, they will keep us healthy.
Healing is fundamentally the restoration of harmony from disharmony, which allows us to reconnect with our life energy or essence, or if you will, our superconscious mind. Your superconcsious mind assists and watches over your evolutionary growth process as a spiritual being. In contrast, your conscious mind is your volitional mind and your subconscious is your habitual mind.
The ultimate goal then in raising your vibrational frequency and awareness is to reach a state of unified consciousness, where all three are firing together.
Sound enters the healing equation from several directions. It has emotional effects, which influence neurotransmitters (endogenous chemicals that transmit signals from a neuron to a target cell across a synapse) and neuropeptides (small protein-like neuronal signaling molecules), which in turn help regulate the immune system – the healer within.
When we arrive here on earth in our natural state we are pure joy. It is our collective birthright to experience infinite love, health, harmony, happiness and abundance and the fact that we can develop the ability to manifest those qualities in our lives.
When we are not experiencing any or all of these, we are not in tune, we are out of sync, we are in dissonance.
Sound vibration can help restore regulatory function to a body out of tune…
Especially as experienced during times of stress or illness. It will help maintain and enhance regulatory function to a body that is ‘in tune’ or in ‘resonance’.
Equilibrium
When properly mobilized, sound can specifically entrain the human organism toward the greater harmony and homeostasis (a state of equilibrium) that it requires to remain vibrant and to regenerate after experiencing stress, injury, or illness.
It is noteworthy to mention here that every person has a liking for a certain sound, akin to his or her particular evolution. Each person has his peculiar note in which he speaks, expressive of his life’s evolution, his soul, expressive of his feelings and his thoughts.
Rhythm
Now picture the kind of messages and beliefs, mostly made of spoken words, which have been accumulated and engrained in your subconscious mind since the moment of being in the motherly womb.
From a very early state of your existence you are subjected to and absorb the energy input from your mother and her surroundings, which include the rhythms and sounds of her heartbeat.
The first sense that develops in the womb is your auditory system and your hearing
As always in life, it is your choice…
Remember that the conscious mind’s prefrontal cortex can process and manage the relatively measly 40 nerve impulses per second. In contrast, the subconscious mind’s platform can process 40 million nerve impulses per second. Imagine the subconscious mind’s processor being 1 million times more powerful than the conscious minds! Consider then that the average person has about 1,000 thoughts per hour and depending on your brain’s activity you can have between 12,000 – 50,000 thoughts per day. That potentially can be a whole lot of positive, expansive and abundant thinking, or the opposite thereof, which is restrictive and over time only adds unnecessary stressors to our lives.
Therefore be very diligent in your process of self awareness and recognize when your subconscious mind dominates
Choose
Observe yourself and inquire within whether the thought that prevents you from “xyz” or repeats a negative message is a limiting belief. Once you are aware, choose to replace your old beliefs and feed yourself good, empowering and positive thoughts throughout your segments of time.
Allow
Look for what you want to see manifest in your life and remember that allowing is the absence of doubt. Picture your outcome through your superconsciousness mind and be specific of what the scenario looks like, experience what it will feel like.
Conquer
Sometimes it is not enough to replace limiting and negative beliefs with opposing ones. “Old” thinking and behavioral patterns are deeply ingrained and the subconscious mind acts like a stubborn little child, not wanting to let go. Be VIGILANT

What if clients do not like my work?
I am not a creative person
There is never enough time for me to get things done
It is not going to work anyways
If it would not have been for “xyz”
I would be at a different point in my life
Nobody likes me anyways
And above all, remember:
If nothing changes…nothing changes.
Be good to yourself and drink plenty of water, it increases the conductivity of your nerve impulses within your system
